Jay has a good idea but use the trading post - the retards that that steal things from people don't read local papers, just light them up for laughs or leave them lying all over the front lawn of their HC provided dump.

I HATE THIEVES IN ANY FORM - HOODIES OR SUITS !!! May they all die a horrible death by overdose of their favourite drugs

Very sad to learn of this, Trev - don't start me on thieves.....

I'm guessing, that if it wasn't for a joy ride... it won't come out into the open until the heat's off..... I'd also be looking for every HK in your area with damaged panels......

ps. hindsight is a wonderful thing - and others make take note of this..... I deeply engrave every part of my vehicles - as I work on them...... panels and most parts of our old buses don't have identifying numbers.... but etching a particular number - (pm me, and I'll tell you which one the police know how to trace back to you) ..... into a part - gives you something evidential to use..... especially if they do a "drop" with a known "fence".....

Sorry to hear it got stolen. Had this problem awhile back up my way. Unfortunately they are being targeted for parts for Monaro builds. Obviously I dont know your vehicle but if its got good bits on it it may have been pulled down. Dont want to put a damper on it and I hope you get it back. A few Ive come across were recovered less quite a few panels etc, wheels. Make sure you put a post on OZRODDERS. Get it out there that its been stolen, loose lips sink ships.

I hate thieves. My place got broken into in late July and then again 2 weeks ago. The first time they got into my workshop and took engine stuff and the second time they took all my house stuff (washing machine, stove , oven, range hood, dishwasher and dryer. Nothing was insured. It was the first new things I had ever bought and hadnt even been turned on yet. I was hoping to get everything done for christmas. Now I have to try and get some second hand stuff just to keep the project going (new kitchen).

I had the place chained/baricaded with massive wharf beams ( I need a Backhoe just to move them). They simply went into my next door neighbours place and put it all over the fence.

Words cannot explain how we feel about these low lying mongrels (putting the term too nicely), I have emailed all our car club members here who are out and about quite a bit (and we are only 9k's from the vic border) and asked them to keep their eyes open, on the off chance that the crooks will still be brazenly driving it. Sure hope we can help find it for you.

f#%k i'm glad to be out of that area, i can say i will never miss the fealing of being scared to go out or away and wondering if when you get home yor front door won't be wide open and yor stuff gone

A mate of mine lives on Bronte Beach and his grandfather's mint VL Calais Turbo stolen in broad daylight right out the front of his place... never saw it again...

What shits me is every news bullitien for 2 consequtive nights now has covered story of Lara Bingles Stolen Sports Car.
Who Gives a Shit.
One report stated that police are doing what they can to have it recovered.
So if you've got big tits, dating a cricketer and have shit loads of money, then suddenly the media and police will work to see you get your expensive peice of crap car returned.
If you own a HK, VN, FJ, FB, Falcon or any other car, and you struggle to work your guts out to feed your family at the end of the week then losing your pride and joy doesnt really matter??????

I'd guess it's the same for 'celebs', it's not that they can't afford to replace 'em but the fact that some 'low-life' just wandered in an took it!

With us folk it's more painful..because it's usually something that we pour our heart & soul (not counting the ca$h & time) into.
We should go back in time & make it a 'Hanggin' Offense' stealing the owners conveyance! I'd be screwed if some bastard stole my 'rides', as I live a fair way out of town and need a car to get to work..so I'd lose my job as well!
By the way Trev..was the HK Prem a 307?
