Skin repair/fitment ,from a skin fitment Virgin 1/half hours work.
I always wanted to be a panel beater.
step one,grind down the perimeter till it splits
grind spots as they stop you lifting the inner skin,
grind the spots on the outer skin ,start to lift,grind the top parts
off she comes,48 years the innards love to see the sun,
dont rush to close it,clean and treat it
bang on a new skin and away you go.
Dont really know how to do it right I hope it helps someone

Its coated in NOS nasco juice and hasnt rusted since new so it should be right, the car will be treated with barbeque fat when finished :?

you still have king pin front ? i've been told (never checked) that '53'54 chev stub axles go just about straight on and give a 2" drop may be worth sussing out
