EK Sedan petrol tank urgently needed

Post by vmx-mxr »

As the title says.......................

I am posting this one for EKjimmy who is off to TAFE to learn to spell complex words like hydramatic and solve complex mathematical problems such as, if the capacity of an engine is 138ci and the bore is 3.062" what is the stroke of the crank?

He needs a good petrol tank as the one in the grey Special is more holy than the 25th of December !!! As it is his driver time is important - I can, I suppose try blowing myself into the next world patching it up, but a good solid one must be around somewhere?

We are in Sydney so it would have to be within the greater metro area - happy to pay a fair price for a good one for a good young bloke who loves his cars with fins !!!

Thanks

Dave Mac,
I have one but unsure of the condition. You can have it, may be better than the one you describe.
I can also deliver it as I travel from Glenorie to Parramatta every day.

Regards Greg

Hi Everyone

Greg got back to us and said the tank he had was a goner so the search continues for a good tank for Jimmy's sedan.

Can anyone part with one of their spares?

Don't know what happened to the wanted thread but who cares, lol!

What I want to know is why someone would want to keep a car in another country like Western Australia !!!

Surely the cars are better off on the east coast where there is higher humidity so they can do exactly what their manufacturer intended and rust ???

this is so dumb,,,

even if the car stays,,the chances of it bein seen again.....W.A is a big place.
and who says that they dont sell it interstate...

the only way its gonna stay for sure,, is if u keep it and dont move.....

and if u move interstate....u better sell it to someone in W.A

aidan...
i'll get there....
