Yeah,I used a 5 inch angle grinder with a Strip it disc (Josco Brumby) available from Bunnings.
Ive stripped back a lot of cars but SWEAR by this one ,one disc has done the whole roof and bonnet cost $18 each but well worth it,gets rid of the tiniest surface rust just keep it moving as to not warp the panel :)

Nah, not un-interesting. It's progress :!:

I put up everything I do aswell. It's good to look back over your posts and see what you've done every now and then.
When the guys look at your posts and comment, it's good motivation to know someone is taking notice of what you do.

Mick's ek has gone soo far!! i remember the very fist day i saw it and to be honest i didnt see much potential, well accept for another ek couch but to see how far it has come is just amaizing, mick should start a resto show like micks restos :lol:

My old beer boxes come in handy for making pretend bits of steel,
just as well its VB or the box would be good for Nothin !

Bit of sanding start wit some 60 grit till the shape is right, work it down to
120 ish then etch the bare and prime the dunga.Yes Baby!!
