Not to keen on the tri tone, but either gun metal or black work for me.

I realised tonight I have to extend the doors a little more
I dropped the front coils out and lowered it down to the intended ride height then eyeballed it from a few different angles .......

Man you're picky on your own work Harko!
When you make the doors longer, will that effect the back window operation?

I just think it looks right or wrong  :D

Excuse the independant rear suspension but Im just playing with ride height ... The front guard on the white and the rear on the rim is the plan , looks like I might run larger front rims ...

You're probably gonna hate me for doing this  but here's just an idea...I dropped the rear wheel arch down by about 2-3"..that 'visually' makes the rear look longer.
Please excuse the &*#@ Cusso flash..I was playing with flash lines.. ..& did'nt realize it until I pulled back on the photo! :?

Thats cool Scotty , The wheel arch looks the GO ,
And the window joiner I had actually planned to have level with the door jamb as you pictured but I didnt think enough about how windows work and how it was going to affect it , The door length looks fine IMHO but the window will have to join too far forward and I think it will be too prominent to not take it into account ....
My two options are either extend the door or extend the door jamb , will suss it out soon.

Also would love to see an FB flash but not quite as thick , could give the car some length visually

Nice work Scotty! Mind you the cusso-esque one looks good too.

Harko tough call on extending the doors again. It doesn't need much does it. But you sould get away with leaving it.

i reckon the doors are ok one thing i think alot of people do when doing a 2 door conversion is make the doors to long, i think they use chev's as a bassis which is a much longer car and end up with a huge front door and a tiny dinky little rear side window

the FB flash makes the door look shorter, the cussoish flash is something i've thought about many a time 8)

If this is in regards to the winder mechanism winding the window straight up, why not angle it so the window cranks forward & up like most US coupes do??? Even a basic late model type runner turned on an angle would be ok like that, you just need the positioning right so that it butts into the window line in the right place length wise.
If not, please disregard this dribble.

Heres the gold I have

And Ive still been toying with a graphite / titanium / allunium tone .

Or like this - black lower half faded to gunmetal grey then the roof in gold - a genuine aussie triple tone :)

How do you know what Gold that is??????????????????????????????????????
