Went last year, a good show, but will be hitting the books this year.

My FB is at the smash repair shop two doors down!

Was told the FB was ready for pickup today.

Went down and had a look, said get stuffed you can keep it until you fix it as you said you would.

In short, they have failed to replace the lenses, put on a crappy pitted tail light lens housing and have only done 40% of the 'extra' work I am paying them $500 to do.

Not happy jan!

oh whoops - that was yesterday

yeh well it was ready, I stole the new tail light lenses, swapped over the tail light chrome with mine and stole the other 60% of the extra work muahahah
Boy does my EK look pretty :)

But in all seriousness, did you get to choose the repairer? If so was Tony too busy?

Sounds a bit dodgy, make sure you dont go easy on them, make sure its immaculate!

No didn't get to choose the repairer.

Tony doesn't do panel and paint work.

Needless to say, the insurer (GIO) is no longer doing vintage cars so when our insurance policy expires we will be signing with Shannons as recommended by a few of the people here.

Hey Andrew, you might also consider lumley insurance (lumley special vehicles) A mate put me on to them he reckons they were cheaper then shannons. I havent tried shannons but I have my Ek insured with lumley for agreed value with salvage rights etc and they are way cheaper then any of the big insurance mobs. havent made a claim with them yet though.

Just had a squizz at their site Jake and it says no drivers under twenty five years of age.

I guess I am out then :(

They do look good - list custom and street rod as a class of vehicle!
