twins on a 161

hey guys just wondering if anybody has put twin carbs on a 161 before,
just wondering what happend pretty much....

as i have twins and a 161....but not togeather...yet

I had twin carbs on a 173, ran great for 3 years then thought i might try a single carb on a standard manifold and the power increase was unbelievable :shock: , unless it's a worked motor I wouldn't bother :wink: , Trev 8) .

Probably better they don't either. Although you will have nice clean bores as the excess fuel cleans 'em.

No huge power increase, your motor will only suck in and use the correct amount of fuel, add more fuel and you start fowling plugs and pushing unburnt fuel out your exhaust, Trev 8) .

i just rembered i have a stage 3 head and extractors to....
would this be better with the carbs?
