Swan bonnet emblem

I picked up a swan bonnet emblem today from the Queanbeyan swap meet. The guy told me that some FB's came with them. Does anyone know if they did come out with them.

The swan is in great condition with the feathers cut into the wings. It has two holes where the eyes are and i'm not sure if there was suppose to be anything in the holes for the eyes or just the holes.

It doesn't have any numbers on it only a G underneath it.

Any info would be a great help.

some of the early packards had a swan hood ornament. the first ones had the feathers in the wings then the later ones had smooth wings. i'm not sure if it could be one of them.

Pretty sure they were an aftermarket item

theres a bloke that lives around my area with a BEAUTIFUL black EK on historic plates, and that car has a swan emblem.

i was under the impression you couldnt get historic plates unless the car is bone stock, so next time i see him, i'll ask.

There is nothing to be embarrased or ashamed about, El Presidente. We are all vulnerable to the lure of a warm grey, some more so than others. I don't know you that well, but if there is anything I can do to help your transition to EK Sports, I will do my best.

kinda does bring up a bit of a dilema

, didn't mato's wagon get classed as sports cause it's got a chrome rocker cover or something simple like that to me fitting a fowlcan bonnet emblem has got to be worse

There was a nice stocker EK at the Forbes nats that was classed "sports'
becuase its 6" rims were wider than stock.

I was checked to see if I retained the 3spd crunch box in Forbes to suit the sports category.

The foulcan bird could be a period accessory!!!

Same with Lolly's grey EK. Dead stocker, but wheels 1 inch wider than standard. Got classed as Sports.

yes NEVER EVER try to understand how judging at any car show/event works

in my opinion if yor doing it for trophies yor doing it for the wrong reason spose if you spend big bucks and or lots of time would be nice if it happened but would never do it for the sole reason

Just bolting on a set of inch wide rims to a stock car doesn't seem enough justification to classify that car as sports...
