Swan bonnet emblem
Swan bonnet emblem
I picked up a swan bonnet emblem today from the Queanbeyan swap meet. The guy told me that some FB's came with them. Does anyone know if they did come out with them.
The swan is in great condition with the feathers cut into the wings. It has two holes where the eyes are and i'm not sure if there was suppose to be anything in the holes for the eyes or just the holes.
It doesn't have any numbers on it only a G underneath it.
Any info would be a great help.
Thanks
Mick

i was under the impression you couldnt get historic plates unless the car is bone stock, so next time i see him, i'll ask.

There is nothing to be embarrased or ashamed about, El Presidente. We are all vulnerable to the lure of a warm grey, some more so than others. I don't know you that well, but if there is anything I can do to help your transition to EK Sports, I will do my best.Jeez, I may have to go in the sports category

becuase its 6" rims were wider than stock.
I was checked to see if I retained the 3spd crunch box in Forbes to suit the sports category.
The foulcan bird could be a period accessory!!!
Same with Lolly's grey EK. Dead stocker, but wheels 1 inch wider than standard. Got classed as Sports.
The rules concerning what car gets classed as what do seem a bit odd
PS......not complaining, just raising a point
