HILLBILLY CRUISE

Post by olskule »

Haven't heard any complaints, and I'm off for 2 weeks away, so here's the plan.

11:00 A.M. on Sunday the 25th of October at the corner of Farrall Rd and Great Eastern Highway, Midland, which is right next to the Caltex servo. This is about 10 seconds drive from the corner of Roe and GE Hwy's eastbound, it's a Gyprock place or something and has a big carpark for a meeting spot. Made it a bit later due to a few people having sporting type commitments, hoping that helps to join in.

A cruise upto the Mundaring Weir pub for a bite, drink and yak, and then through the bush and valleys to Kalamunda, then the back way through to Karragullen and then Roleystone to my joint for more tall tales.

In a "current" car this drive is around 1 hour, so it's not huge, cruising pace around 1 and a half. I'm sure some people will have a hike to get there and home so I didn't want to make it too long.

It'll be a good drive were we can easily stay together as a group etc.

Seb, Blacky, anyone, pass onto other like groups and clubs and invite them all, hopefully the weather will be good.

Alright, we've had plenty of notice, show me the numbers...............
