Hi J
Easiest way is with a steering wheel puller, as it needs a certain level of force to remove it from it's mount and can be damaged if not done correctly (they're cheap and readily available at most auto stores).
I have done it once before by threading the nut back on just a few threads, giving the wheel a few taps with a rubber mallet, and giving one hell of a tug to pull it free...BUT it's not the correct way to do it. Can cause damage and, if you don't anchor it to the column, can end up breaking your nose as well when it finally gives. The guys here will probably have better methods if you don't want to buy a puller, or may even have one you could borrow.
Cheers, Scott

He is converting it into a two door (its an easy mod!) drift car painted in tiger mica with a big subwoofa, powered by a sr20 (N/A - 300hp)J wrote: I cant give you guys pics cos its a secret, and when I get it back is also a secret, as when it debuts it will shock many, it will shock many more at motorvation 2010
Just joking, but I am sure J will do something far more tasteful than the above plans posted by other young members of this forum.

Just make sure you do leave the nut on a couple of turns though if you don't use a puller.
I broke my nose years ago getting an FC steering wheel off because it gave way all of a sudden and I never had the nut on.
A puller is the best way but if the wheel is cracked then have a wheely good pull.
I can't think what to write here so this will do.
