ARIEL REDHUNTER TWIN

Post by EK DAZ »

Here is a bike that my Dad and I have just finished restoring. I was going buy to my some house paint not long after I got married and called in to see an old guy who had some bike parts. After spending the paint money on an old incomplete engine and returning home with no paint, I was ready for some Frypan marks on the back of my head. It was then that I understood what the term "selective deafness" meant, which was used by older married men.Any way, a frame turned up and then a tank ,etc. Forteen years later shes Imageup and running.

Nice one. 8) 8)

I've been told that I'm not allowed to get a bike licence.
Not that I've tried....... I'm probably still here because I didn't.
Mind you, didn't stop me riding a few :D :D , and crashing one or two.

That looks fantastic. Would rather have that over house paint anyday.

They all get sick of nagging in the end.

Cheers

Nice bike EK Daz.

Ariels are a great bike.
I had a 1948 Ariel Red Hunter 500 single for a lot of years . Never missed a beat.
Great old clunkers .

I currently own a 1968 Norton commando Fastback ( 750 twin ).
Wife rides a 1934 BSA B2 250cc single with girder forks and hand gear change.

Enjoy the fruits of your labour mate.. she looks great.
