Yep, remember the '74 floods well as we had to evacuate our house as the floodwaters went through it...... that was in NSW though.Also remember the floods of '71.. same thing.

I think you should invest in some sand bags just in case as It probably will happen again, the weather usualy repeats ist self.

Yer remember getting woken up at some un godly time in the am and going for a boat ride. Liven in the local church hall for a couple of days after. Was not fun. Lived to remember it so not that bad.....

There would be similar photos emerging from the Karumba area i would say.
I didnt know about the 74' flood as it was way before my time.
