Matty, The grill is stock except I have cut and shut the chevy grill bar into the ends, so I could incorparate the indicators as they have the same profile as the guards. All that has to be done now is to shape the backs of the indicator housings to fit the guards. I threw the grill in the nite before All Holden day without finishing cause I ran out of time. Plus I like to have a different look each year. The centre section of the grill is how they are, and the end bars could be used but you'd have to delete the indicators.

Hey Matty, Don't know if you get QLD Street Car magazine but on page 41 in the NOV-DEC issue there's a pic of a flat purple desoto with stock grill. Check it out. It was a common Kustomizing thing in the day. I've even seen one in a HK Monaro!

Hey Matty, Its pretty easy to have different looks for different moods or cruizes. Two or three sets of wheels and tyre packages,(these are easy to get when you have more than one car!) Stock spats and cruizer skirts, chrome and colour coded dummy spots, Air shocks for ride hieght, Mexican blankets for throw over and always have spare kustom bolt in Grills. Add extra grill bars in a stock FB grill, Put shower rail tubing on a FB grill frame and the easy one, get grill mesh from supercheap and go to bunnings indoor sales and buy as many gaudy door pulls as you can afford and screw them into the mesh in geometric shapes. Just a few ideas for ya, also get any george barris books and see how they did it back in the day.
