i couldnt help but notice the hub caps, the centre doesnt have any emblem there just flat, is that standard :?: as i havnt seen them on any aussie cars

They are FB caps, the only model without an emblem, Trev 8) .

Actually the other thing I noticed, he must have to push start all those BM's, going by the tilted front over riders..

Lovely FB, when i was in SA and Zim in 94 i saw HD's and HR's and chev badged HQ's and aussie &*#@ utes badge as ranchero's and a few Valiants but no earlier holdens unfortunately.

Might be around R20 000, so does inflate it a bit when going that far. Will find out.

Hi all, just found this post from 2008, now would you believe that that car is now in Australia and I own it :vecctor: , I bought it last year from a guy in Victoria but it looks like it was imported into QLD,then sold on. It has been giving Trev and I some head aches the last few days but It's on its way to being finished, still has the same colour and everything, just had to change the motor cause the old grey was past it. Just thought I'd post

Wow. Having left Oz in 1960 or so that FB would have seen some significant changes and events in South Africa.

Very cool piece of history. I've seen HD's and VB Commodores in Kenya (still going in the 2010's), though never any Holdens in South Africa.

Would love to see the ID plate on the FB.
