Fitted a Torana front end to an EH just like the one shown over 25 years ago.

Have been meaning to do a similar conversion several times over the years but just ended up fitting HR front ends instead.

MICK

Remember that Austin ute in my shop in Sydney with the Torana front and rear ends I fitted

yes, and then our austin had a torana front and rear :D also remember bretts A model with austin chassis with torana front and rear that i'm pretty sure you did also

the EH you speak of was it LC/LJ front or LH/LX front ? as this is what the FC has and i'm thinking of

well this is all very interesting :)

i have a lh torana front end just rusting away and an EH in the shed with no motor in it so im thinking i might have to start doing some measuring ... i know i would much prefer a uc front end to an hr one!
Regards,

Sammy.

Mick

Brets roadster was built by Les Buckley of Midnight Spares and Repairs.

I have built one and a half of those roadsters.

But fitted a few Torana front ends to many different types of vehicles.

Have been thinking of doing one for that EJ project

Even your worst weld would be better than my best, Mick...

Money - if you couldn't do anything with it - it would be metal and paper - reckon it might be time to go collect cowrie shells again.....
Don't think the rego people would accept them, though... like to see the slot machine which did
2009 us just one number up from 2008 - doesn't seem too long ago we were wishing everyone a happy 2008.....

merry christmas Mr & Mrs Ratbox...
