I'll echo everyone else's sentiments. Looks great, wheels suit it to a tee. Stance is good and the subtle body mods just top it off. You've done well.
Speed and Style........... One day I'll get the speed bit.

Andrew that backdrop looks very much like Farrington Rd Shopping Centre - are you a Leeming local
The only reason for time is so everything dosen't happen at once.
If Macca's home delivered there'd be one less drunk on the road.

Your correct - I live in Winthrop, so just around the corner. Was visiting a mate who just bought a shaved commonwhore so I stopped for some shots. Even the coppas rolled up for a look see 8)

BUS - Never got the plates, never really pursued them furthur than with you. I can't really see the point in paying $500+ for custom plates when I could spend that money on other areas of the car.

Everyone else - Thanks for all of the kind words. Big thanks to people like Ratbox, Nomad, J, Blacky, Thommo,Rosco!!! etc who are always willing to have a chat and lend a hand or online advice.

Tomorrow the fb is going in for a service and tune as it is using close to 20l of fuel for every 100km and is running very very rich.

Andrew :)

Sure am Rosco!

But not 100% happy.

Put it in for a service yesturday and for my swaybar (rear) to be fitted. Turns out the damn thing doesn't fit and fouls the shockies. I ordered it as a custom design from KMAC earlier this year, after repeatedly asking them if it would fit my fb considering it had a lc/lj diff in it. Turns out they are pea brains and still managed to stuff it up despite many emails emphatically stating that I had a torana diff in my FB.

Oh well, will send them a stern letter on my father's law firm's letter head which I work for :)

Besides that, wow a tune makes a difference to driving the thing. I would say it has 20% more power  :o
It just has so much more torque than before.

Mechanics report also said that there was nothing mechanically wrong with it. Sweet as. The love the car, and seem to like it when I bring it in every now and then.

The next chapter in this build will be work carried out on the interior. There is a guy at my church who is an ex train motor carriage trimmer who has generously offered to redo my headlining and fix up my front door trims. He did the interior in our prefect and it is great. I think after that is done, I will have to get into the prefect and get it on the road. It is currently stashed at my Aunt's house and all it requires for rego is the wiring attended to. It has a full loom atm, but it is original and rather brittle looking.

Thats all for now folks,

Andrew

Minor updates:

Minus:
No progress on the sway bar. Got a email back from KMAC saying that I must live in an 'perfect world' if I think that a custom ordered sway bar will fit my car  I replied asking to exchange the bar for a bar to suit a stock as a rock fbek and haven't since heard back from them. That was a few weeks ago. Me thinks I will write them a stern letter on the old's law firm letter head

Plus:
Just opened my plenum air vent and was greeted by a barrage of leaves and sand. This is the first time that I have opened it since owning the car  I think my summer driving will be a heap my comfortable now as the only thing worse than a sweaty back on vinyl seats is sweaty feet in thongs while driving 8)

I have a lot of things to tidy up on this car when my holidays start on the 20th.

Don't know. But I know what DOCEP would say. I am a Law student myself, and can see a cause of action in this matter relating to defective products. 8) What would you do if you got shipped a product that was wrong? I asked if I could return it, and get one that fits and he said I must be dreaming. Strange way to treat customers....
Are you a religious man Trev?

I'd probably suck it up and learn a lesson, if it was a custom bar ordered over the phone (is that what it was?). But if it was guaranteed to fit then I'd have something to say  .
Religious? Not in the slightest :D , Trev 8) .

It was ordered via email direct from KMAC. The invoice reads Swaybar - Rear 1960 FB Holden. Has LC/LJ Diff. According to the workshop that fitted the bar, it has LC stamped all over it so it looks to be to suit a stock lc Torana.

Maybe I should keep it, I love LC Toranas, but there is no way I could sell the FB in order to buy one.

 :)

Prob. will just suck it up and wear the cost. Will rectify the scrubbing on the inner guard on corners problem with a hammer, grinder and welder 8)

I still like the idea of the letter,
once you send it they will probably suck up to you and send you one that will fit
