Vinyl pinstripe, to do or not to do??
Vinyl pinstripe, to do or not to do??
Just wondering if anyone has used the adhesive vinyl pinstripe kits before? I know its probably quite a sacrilegious thing to consider when there are pinstripers out there who have taken years to perfect their art, but nevertheless i'm asking. Is there any point using it? Is it really weather proof? Or just another gimic...
Depends on what you are trying to do with it? If you want something like a stripe full length of the car then its not bad, but if you want stuff like on rods and customs forget it, go the paint route. Plenty of stripers around, Johns Picnic in 2 weeks time will bring out a few, more often than not most will do stuff onsite if you're willing to pay.
Speed and Style........... One day I'll get the speed bit.
I used it once (yelling "ON A COROLLA WHERE IT BELONGED")
No dramas with it , goes on well , and sticks well .
I have seen it come off other cars and Ive also blasted it off with the pressure cleaner at the local car wash .
My opinion - temporary taiwan style product that shouldnt be used on a classic
