WANTED: Set of Doors

Post by DeadSled »

I'm after a set of four doors.. two front and two rear.

If you have spares.. let me know. Prefere good condition but a bita rust is alright.

Nothin wrong with the ones i've got.. but.. i don't wana cut them up. Unless the ones i get are better than what i've got.. in which case i'll cut em up then.

Nick,
I have a drivers door in average condition.. If your keen I'll get some pics.. Is just a shell, no window winder mechanism, door hardware or 1/4 window.

Try Early Holden Spares and Repairs, Before he moved Bruce had a shite load of FB/EK doors stacked up behind the donga he used as an office.

Hey Anthony,

Yeah i'm keen. Don't care about no glass or winders or anything.

Where abouts is he located? If need be i'll go out to Fernvale and unbolt the remaining of what i need off shitters up there.. but everything there is rough as $*#@. My EK was from there.. which explains its condition when i bought it

Aha. Don't say anything to him :P

Seriously though.. the only cars that he lets people take bits off are absolutely rooted. Anything thats decent isn't touchable.. from what i've seen.

You'd fit a set of doors into a kinger no sweat. Just wrap them in blackets so they dont get any grime on your seats or carpets.

Dad bought me home a RM80 (MotorBike) when i was a kid in the back of his HQ. (Put the seat in boot.) Piece of cake...

Gotta love the Q-ship's great car and heaps of character.
I also like Leyland P76's for same reason, also can fit 44 gallon drum in and close boot..   revolutionary stuff.!! :D
(I usually save the I like p76's comment for confessional.)
