I was never a big fan of the HD's but that is very nice :D :D :D .

Like the various mods, back door handles  front door handles off a HQ :? Is the dash out of a HT ? :? Front guards, mags, lowered, V8, everything. Must have been upmarket, it's even got a wireless.

And it's all done already, sweet.................................

The dash is well done, has Monaro 140mph speedo as well. Looks like it was supposed to be there and is a lot nicer than the HD/HR dash, which is quite simple. The car was built by a very talented car builder here in Adelaide.

Plans for the car initially are to add prem stainless trim to sills and drip rails and prob go back (to at least front door) original style handles. RB, I was initially a bit  about the flutes as well, but they are growing on me and suit the style of the car, so I will wait and see for a bit.

The car also has HR front clip with custom grill, allowing for the original HD parker/ indicators located on the apron and the grill bars have been extended. Overall, I think this works, although I quite like the original HD front if a good one were to pop up down the track... 8)

Dash is HK. Yes, its all done, bar a few bits a pieces, but personal and trivial really. One to drive and enjoy while I get stuck into finishing the other van.... 8)

Agree mate, The HD was more like our answer to a Chevy Nova I reckon, the boot longer and lines flow better from the back pillar. 8)

For sure.

Thats why I like EJ's, all the body lines flow. Just look at how square and sharp the roof and rear are on an EH.

When a model upgrade and redesign is done, they loose something in the translation.

And in doing the changes you are putting your own personal touch on the car.
