Nice examples !!!

I like how your not going too crazy on your sedan build, just a Blown V8 ........ hahahaha

Personally I prefer the SBC over the 308. Seems they are charging a fortune for 308 manifolds these days. Parts seem easier to come by with an SBC and cheaper in the long run, and when the aussie dollar limps back up good to get parts from the states.

Please keep us posted !

yeh well its not that i dont like the 350 its just i didnt want to go to far from aussie and the biggest is 308...but thats not to say i wont change my mind and go for the 350...only time will tell

some more pic's i took this morning and i have hit a hump with my bank account dryer than the outback and working nights and playing with the ek days im not getting alot of sleep so its back under the car cover and tarp for another month or so and then the floor pan's and gearbox tub to be cut out and replace the tub with a auto one

308 with turbo 400 trans
gloss black paint
chrome dragways
gm 6-71 blower
full rails
disc front
seat belts ect
and yeh thats about it nothing over the top...just something to make the jap crap drivers drop a nut when i pull up in a real car

well if that's nothing over the top, I wanna see you do another car that is over the top! That would be one tuff car! :D

good work on the EK, looked like a bit of a basket case to begin with but now it's looking well on track to be a nice streeter.

thanks paroharo...what i call over the top is what EKK001 has done man thats alot of work and my hat goe's off to him for doing that much work, time and money...and if i do take on another project it will be a stocker from sunviser to white walls all stock as a rock cause the fb ek looked sexy from factory so yeh i have my eye on a ek wagon its a special and its yellow so yeh i might be getting that and have a stocker...we'll see this one might send me to the looney bin yet

well todays progress was pretty piss poor due to the door having about 15 layers of paint and it was hard as a rock..its costing me more to get the old paint off than it will putting the new on

Welcome ek_nuts, great to have another one in Brisbane.

I love your mates ute, I'm really starting to like them, a lot. :D :D
That's a sweet ride............. 8) 8) 8)
Semi original, with just the right amount of extras.

For $300 you can go wrong. And your progress for a couple of weeks is fantastic. If you had a full budget I bet you'd be finished by now.
Love to hear and see more as the project continues. Especially the 308.

You're new to the site too EKN

Want to see more of your work. Everyone had to start somewhere.
Love the pics of your mates ute - what are his wheels, I should know but don't.

Hope you don't lose interest, I won't looking at what you are doing.
