Another EK and FB difference

i found another difference, im not sure if its common on fb's, i noticed on my mates fb on the front doors just in front of the vent windows on the inside of both doors there is a cap about the size of a 20 cent peice. i then looked at my ek and it has a pressed similar shape which is part of the sheet metal and not a cap. anyone else notice it on their car?

Yep - it is an access hole to fit the nut that holds the chrome trim clip onto the door.

I may be wrong but also the little wheel bracket for the handbrake cable on the front near the y frames in in a different angle/direction. I have 2 different front ends and both are at different angles.

found another difference, the gear stick knob is a bit bigger and chunkier on an fb. the ek is more like an ej, eh

The bonnet bar is a different profile with no badge area on FBs ,

Guard bonnet bar extensions stop rather than wrap around into the blinker as on EKs

FB grille has 3 bars , EK has 5

EK speedo had a needle FB speedo has an orange area that grew at speed.

EK has the Orange bar as well.

FB and EK have the orange bar, it's the FE FC that has a needle, Trev
