Thanks Ray
Geez we just normally go out cruisin' get food and go out cruisin' some more! This is all a little too organised for me! I am supposed to bring a chamois to clean it while it's undercover?
"NosFEratu - the creature of the night" might just stalk the late model mob - depends on what else comes up and if I pull my finger out and get my replacement foxtail ready for cruisin'!

Hi Blacky
Depends on where you are and what type you are looking for.
RED - Try your local gun shop - they sometimes have fox pelts hanging in the window. Just buy the whole thing and chop the tail off.
BLACK or WHITE - American Black/Silver and white Arctics can be found OS on the internet at good prices but I am not sure of import regulations so I haven't tried to bring any in myself.
AUSTRALIAN SUPPLIER - bought my latest black ones from Sh-boomm in Qld. Generally $35 for black and postage about $8. Oh, and sorry, no white ones left up there! (I got the last ones in stock!) http://www.sh-boomm.com.au/misc_items.htm
WARNING - re the big black or white ones. If, like me, you insist on cruisin' with it on all the time (including on the open road) they can tear in half after a few years. You need a very strong base for your ariel if you want to run it close to the car. They tend to want to rip your ariel off as they are very heavy in comparison to the anorexic red ones.
I love it when horrified kids and parents think you've chopped a dog's tail off - so, I tell them that it's the end result of mating 2 border collies on steroids!
Hope this helps.

Hi guys
Have been meaning to do a quick post and thank you for making us feel welcome the other night. We didn't stay the whole time but it was nice to see some of your cars for real rather than avatars etc and to meet a few of the faces behind the cars and comments.
A comment though - I'm always amazed that some people haven't realised that it's not how fast you get there it's how you get there that really counts! NosFEratu, the (cruisin') creature of the night, will always have you in sight and will slowly but surely track you down!
We will keep an eye out for future cruises and NosFEratu might emerge from it's (supposed) hideaway and stalk you young ones again!

Good to meet Dave, Glen, Matt, Kathi & John.
When the RAT is more reliable and I am confident taking it further from home I will join you on the cruises instead of just popping down for a look.
Nosferatu is an absolutely schmicko piece of gear - loved it!
And SCK's van looks even better in the metal - I'll give you the tip
Catch you again soon guys & girls!

Hi Jon
Thanks for the compliment
Slowly but surely you will sort out any issues you might have - and when you do, you will find out exactly how reliable these cars can be even in stock form.
I'm sure you will find plenty of information on this forum should you need it and don't forget you can always cruise the early model (FE FC) forum too.
