Today is brake day - first problem the new slave cylinders don’t fit the same as the originals so had to take the die grinder to the freshly powder coated backing plates

Way too much thread showing on the adjuster at the bottom too, indicating they should be sitting quite a bit further away from the top pivot pin. I’ve got some original bits here I can photograph somewhere, albeit balljoint front and wider commercial rear. I think the rears may have been modified to fit disc front compatible rear wheel cylinders.

Correct - adjusters weren’t adjusted, wound them in to fit the drums
Also noticed after taking that pic that I had fitted the shoes arse about on the left side
Fixed, then installed the drivers side and found the new slave cylinders have a different thread to the FB style slaves
New brake lines and tie rod ends tomorrow and hopefully that will be job done
Drivers side done, passenger side is coming for a ride down the hill tomorrow as a sample for the new brake lines
