I have an intermittent control I am going to fit to the Ute the same as I have on the sedan……. one day 🤔

Stephen
I have a couple of HJ-Z units here that would be easy to adapt , what have you used ??
I started with nothing and still have most of it left.

Thanks Blacky. I’ve looked at the command ones. That one doesn’t look that old and has the magnet pick up.

Then on to the pickup bracket - had to make it longer on both planes so made a bracket and welded it on
Image

Glued on the new bits plus a couple of braces
Image
Next !!
Need a cutout switch for the clutch pedal and brake pedal to deactivate the thing so used a standard brake pedal switch and mounted it similar to the stock brake pedal
Image
Image
Used a donor pedal box to experiment on before taking to the one in the ute

I have a VN VP cruise control kit that my son got for me when he was working at a Holden spares place, it wants to use a body control module but I just not tech enough to work it out yet.
I'll have to really sit done and see if I can get my head around it, I assume that the body control module would need to have feed from the computer this is where I come unstuck :wtf: :wtf: :wtf:

Heater is still not done , was waiting on a left side lever that a bloke from NSW sent me over - it got here yesterday and turns out was just 2 right side levers with the left one dodgied up Image
Seeing as he went to all the effort of sending it I figured I better use the bloody thing so I set to it with a grinder and a glue gun

How it is and how it needs to be -
Image

Cut and shut -
Image
Image

Glued and ground ready for a quick squirt of cold gal
Image

Rough enough- just need to get down to Autocables and pick up a section of push/pull cable to finish it off.
