Yep - control arm spacers, as per the below (this image from the FE/FC manual):

I haven't got the HR manual here, but my notes say that the upper tool (3A12) is different to the lower tool (3A11). I've got both tools at home to measure or loan you, but am a fortnight or so before I get home.

That's the one I'm talking about mate cheers , some measurements would be great if possible and I'll see if I can chase up a hr manual and check if it's the same tools

Lower 40mm, upper 20mm from memory.

The spacers stop the arms bending in when you torque the nuts up to spec. As an old friend on this forum once said so aptly, 'do it once, do it right'.

So we got it home from paint and panel on the weekend now the big job begins.

Sweet as a sugar sandwich mate now the fun part - putting everything on once and some things twice I would start with pedal box then wiring harness and wipers - get the crap under the dash done first

That was next on the agenda sit down and write down a order of things to do . Wiring is definitely number one . Putting the pedal box in and working around it was in my head also. Still need to work out where we will mount the fuse panel and the steering column is still a few a few weeks away from being ready. Will be able to run a lot of wiring and get s fair bit done. I will be plenty of thought and planning into that side of it.

Love it Sneezy it looks fantastic, suggestion make sure you tap over your paint etc when you are assembling, putting engine in and windows etc don't ask how I know this is a good idea.

Low adhesion tape though. I always worry about pulling fresh paint off with tape.
