I’ve always considered Valiants agricultural…..

If it hadn't been for a looooong string of hot bricks, the VC would have taken the Mountain in 1966, in almost factory trim. Nothing wrong with the Leaning Tower of Power either.

Not that I don’t like agriculture. School mates dad was an engineer at Tonsley Park. They all drove fast slants, if you call 85mph in second gear fast. One got airborne at 100mph over the train crossing on Brighton Road one night. Suddenly we all grew up…….

Bright and Sunny this morning after more rain overnight which meant the cars got washed for free

Parked up for the day , got some pics before the gates opened-




This local car was parked just up from us - 75000 miles from new and all original except for a respray





Hoping we have talked him in to entering the nationals next year

This was my pick of the show , he was not afraid to drive it either, had nearly 9000km on it since the rebuild

Of course being in cocky country there was some farming gear there -



Gaz and Sue won a beer fridge so that will probably end up in the back of the ute on the way home


Then it was off to the pub

Left Albany Monday morning and battled long weekend traffic for about 150km then said screw it and bailed onto some back roads

Headed to Gazza’s joint and dropped his fridge off then went home , did around 1100km and used 7 litres of oil
