Made brackets from 2.4mm square tube.

Need to get some longer bolts for pedestals and manifold tomorrow.

Clay,
That's damm big cable, because your measurements may be dodgy and because the cable looks like Tina Turners hair i'm going to predict the cable size as 4/0 gauge, 120mm.
Electrical wholesaler will have them with normally 8, 10 or 12mm bolt holes.
Su's look grouse !!

I had to clearence things here
The throttle lever was fouling on the front two carbs. Also canted the brackets so pedestals sit upright to help clearence.

Yep, seems a little bigger than 4/0 cable. 2/0 for most stuff, 3/0 for long runs in voltage sensitive kit. The bigger size won’t hurt anything though.
The stubby coolers made me grin - Dave uses them to plug the ‘zorst on his Merlin hydroplane.
Cheers,
Harv

With luck the switch snd pass through will arrive tomorrow so need to focus on getting some terminals.
Manifold came up nice in the tool pro blasting cabinet.
I will leave the ports alone as they measure same height as stock head, and 1mm narrower.

Some of the manifold studs are a bit close due to swept in runners.
Glen put me on to some 12 point nuts. Invoices are piling up. Three of everything……

Get ya grinder out clay and linish the pads on the intake to be the same as the exhaust and a bit of clearance for the spacers

When I fit it to the actual head I will. Studs can be trimmed if necessary as well. Thanks Glen.

Way easier to set it up on another head off the car.. it flat surface and takes a bit of messing around.. how’s the battery relocation coming along?

Just want to get the actual exhaust manifold in the equation before I start linshing the bosses, in case it is different to the one I am mocking up with. I will do the clearencing though.
Hopefully get some terminals tomorrow and I will borrow your crimper over the weekend to make the cables up. Assuming the other bits arrive tomorrow.
