You are all too kind. I'm not unhappy with it but recognise I am a better welder than a panel beater. As a non- show car it will be a corker

Regardless….. is the owner/ driver happy with progress Brett? Hadn’t changed her mind about colour?

Kate is very happy with the colour and looking forward to seeing the depth to it once it's buffed. This morning talking about taking small hairy dog with her on trips. It's a way off yet

I with you on this one Neil. This is an amazing transformation from where it started in a very short period of time. Well done BrettFireKraka wrote:Hey Brett I think your being hard on yourself from what you started with to what you now have I would say it's perfect you should be really proud mate another one saved

Re: Project 2.
Had a cold shed moment this arvo and had a go at the hr crossmember. Ended up using the standard EK long spacers as they seem to compress the rubbers to the right extent. The front outrigger is sitting exactly middle in its rubber so must be about right. I suspect that the Rares rubber hr conversion kit has this dimension worked out to use the FB/EK spacer, but could just be a fluke.

Re: Project 2.
Fuel tank in and rear shocks and rear axle brake pipes made up and installed. Need to track down an HR rear axle brake lines joiner- the EK one is at right angles where right one for axle is in straight line.
Nice easy day before the next bout of rain.
