Perhaps a full front engine dragster. I have a lead on a chassis.

Ah Mr Terry King !
Terry had the engine reconditioning business in Guildford called Dominator, I totally forgot but he was into speedway with the Fontana engines.
His business was sold a few years ago and he now lives down the south coast of NSW.
He would certainly know the history, he probably built the engine originally.
Regards Greg
Spoke to Terry this morning (been a few years since we last spoke). He remembered more about reco'ing this engine than I can remember about yesterday . Now I'm itching to pop the rocker cover and see what was done to it. No rollers, but likely rocker post upgrades (4 to 7 conversion). Should have a Waggot cam, decked block (about 10:1), potentially polished and peined rods. Oiling will be pretty standard.
Cheers,
Harv

I got a taste for what this thing sounds like while I was in Perth. It's a very responsive engine. One reason for that is the flywheel - the factory 9.1kg has had 25% of its mass removed. Factory one at the top of the photo, the one from this engine at the bottom.

Wow Harv that’s killer man.
Best you can’t sleep in anticipation!
Cool to see the flywheel, I did similar a few weeks ago to mine.
9.1 kgs sounds light for a factory flywheel though, mine weight up at 10.4kgs.
Cut some out down to 9.2 kgs.
