0.429" lift is not overly extreme, more like warm cam... 0.50"+ is not uncommon.

Was it the same rocker-er that busted?

Very good question Harv. Different rocker Harv.

Alright then, I might be just a teeny bit, but it’s only my right foot when it is on the accelerator pedal. 8 ‘) 8 ‘)

I wonder if these would bolt up. I'm over the 60 year old pressed steel.

I would be checking for spring bind and also for correct rocker geometry - after a coupla cones of course :eugeek: :eugeek:

Spring bind would probably lead to bent pushrods before broken rockers though .....
I started with nothing and still have most of it left.

Clearance and geometry all looks good. All oiling well except one, which is still oiling, just not as much as the others. Not one of the ones that has failed. Replaced the broken arm and adjusted all to one turn preload per EH factory workshop manual. They were a bit all over the place, which may have been a contributing factor. Nice and quiet now.

I’m not sure if the roller rockers will fit under a factory cover. I was intending to put one on with 179X2 decal.
