Gimme 5 years
Re: Gimme 5 years
Hi Brett, it's part of the floor shift (similar to this pic from Harv's document). Patrick
Re: Gimme 5 years
what other type is there?
Re: Gimme 5 years
looks a lot like a Dor (except the angle may have been replaced) or the whole thing could be a bitsa
Patrick
Re: Gimme 5 years
could be worth $1500
Re: Gimme 5 years
nah, it's not original - I replaced the gear knob for this one with instructions
Re: Gimme 5 years
I didn't get any EK stuff done over the Easter break, but got out there today and took the driveshaft off.
Grabbed the press off the shed floor and put it on a bench in the garage (I need more room so I can have all my toys out at once)
I've got a couple of new universal joints but decided today I'll also get a new slip yoke - few too many grooves and scratches on the existing one (don't show up in the pic but there was some oil getting through past the seal)

I know what you mean about the space. All these tools take up much space.

Been down the coast for a bit - got back today (noticeable temperature drop coming back into town - not looking good for tinkering with cars)
Some of my recent purchases were here
... slip yoke; and shoulder bolts and wave washers for the floor shift

Re: Gimme 5 years
Mornings are a bit chilly here now Patrick. Had the fire on at night now for a week
. I used heat lamps today trying to get stainless strips back in front window rubber. Great you had a break on the coast.

Hi Brett - yep, can't see much happening outside before lunchtime. Patrick
Re: Gimme 5 years
Is that the standard 200mm one Patrick? Happy with the quality? I might try the heavy duty one for the ute62ekute wrote:I ordered the clutch kit from Automotive Superstore because they came up a fair bit cheaper (and I had a voucher from them as well)

Re: Gimme 5 years
yep, just a standard 200mm clutch - should be okay for a standard grey and crashbox - exedy seems to be a good/popular brand
Re: Gimme 5 years
