I just drank a beer or 2 and watched a windscreen bloke put mine in
I started with nothing and still have most of it left.

yeah, this year I've had someone over to do the 'new style' windscreens on the Forester and Sprinter...and I left them to it

...but a while back I had a windscreen guy over for the Kombi Ute and then he needed me to thump the glass for him - so I thought I may as well just do this style myself

just a bit of tinkering on the EK - put on the door rubbers, visors and mirror

also spent some time on other cars --- feels like time to hit the road in the Sprinter for a bit

Its been nearly 40 years since I was at Burrunjuck, back when Dad drove a HK Prem. Looks like the locals are still friendly though.

Dunno about the other two, but I've worked with the red one in the middle before. He is sketchy. Count your tools before he goes home.

Seat cover looks good Patrick. Should hold you on the racing turns.

Settling in on this for the summer I think. The more I look at it the more I think it used to be loaded up by throwing stuff in (and at) it from a distance. I admire people who can get show quality out of them. I don't like big dents but I don't mind a bit of a wave

I'll probably keep going with the bodywork before I start on the suspension and such; but the ute is sitting on the front bump stops ... so when I saw a company on gumtree selling new springs for a hungie a pair, I picked up these standard height ones

storm today ... good day to say I don't want the tarp on the ute anymore ... still have the old doors on so I put a bit of tape here and there ... more interested to see how the front and rear screens go ... ran out for a look when there was a bit of a break ... so far so good
