Getting there, well documented build this one - I am hopeless with taking pics, I think of it as I start then forget all about it until I am done then get a couple ...
I started with nothing and still have most of it left.

Frustrating morning. Now I remember how I love frigging around under the dash. I do have most everything electrical working bar the indicators. May be the several old flasher cans I’ve tried are all duds. The dash lights are working on full brightness only albeit intermittently. Managed to get the high beam indicator in without breaking the globe this time.
I’ve had a strange recurring problem where the right dash screw gets very tight, probably cross threading, then comes good. This time I sheared it off so re drilling and tapping is now on the agenda.

That's a pain mate sounds like the piece where the screw goes in is stuck they are supposed to slide around a little to sort of self align, good luck with the drill out etc.

Thanks very much Stephen. I was a bit optimistic. Not the first time. Anyway I will use the permit to do some trouble shooting on the engine, align the headlights etc. I have a short list to go through:
Indicators
Horn
Passenger side glass and interior handles
Engine misfire under load - fuel starvation or vacuum advance?
Centre exhaust hanger slight clearance issue
Tonneau cover and inside panels - finally found some off white butyl mastic
Cut and polish half done
Badges and spears
Kick boards
Scuff plates
Door cards
Rego
Not necessarily in that order but definitely some things that need sorting before I present.

Door furniture, tonneau, tick. De-coking de-gumming is well under way 55mph second gear 3.89 diff. Running much smoother without touching dizzy or carb.
I'm still rubbing the paint mainly buffing now. Managed to get up on the range for a photo shoot. Not a soul around.
