Yeah nah just an old an old acquaintance. We spent many a weekend at Para' or called in when passing through when we lived in the area in the 90s. Very entrepreneurial lady she put on some fairly decent events and hosted quite a lot of film crews.

Don’t for get to check the bolt tension when it all warms up, you can normally get another half turn out of the bolts when it is hot.
No worries, I’ll give em a tweak!

It's pity the Ute is not on song Stephen. Great stretch of road to wind it out on. Just watch the wildlife. Night time is 50mph. I've hit a few tips and an emu along there. Young girl we knew hit a bullock. She lived.

Thanks Clay
Only day driving in this area, too much roadkill around. Didn’t make it Parachilna. Few folk did go but it is only open for reservations in dining room apparently.

Regards
Stephen

Set off for home and the ute was not running at all well. Travelled about 30 km and decided to call in and see a local mechanic. He offered to have a look & listen. Agreed it was not right and hooked up the ferret engine analyser.

Turns out the timing was waaaay out, how the hell that happened is anyone's guess? The guys were brilliant as they had previous grey motor experience which was a relief. Did some grey motor whispering and it sounded good. Took it for a spin up the road and it was a new ute. They didn't charge me for the full time they spent on the job.

As i was leaving they brought out some grey motor goodies and said here you may as well take these, they have been sitting out the back for years!

The 400 km trip home went really well. Amazing what a well timed engine goes like
