That is if I do black them out of course.

Big day. Up at 3am and arrive home at 7 in time for virtual coffee with the team. Knock off at 11 and seven costs of paint.

Very nice. Now you just need to put it back together. I suppose there's less interior to trim in a ute. But sedans don't have the cargo area floorboards.

Drivetrain before front panels, hopefully?

Gee thanks fellas. Rob, all this activity is aimed at being ready when the trimmer has the head lining ready to go. The seat is done, and I’ve ordered a repro mat from Martin, so that is the interior taken care of. Maybe I can hit that June long weekend deadline after all. The rear shouldn’t be much work. Bit of 1/2” marine ply lathered in marine grade clear with the original strips thanks to Neil. But before all that will be the wiring. Still deciding how to attack that, as long as I do the interior light or at least instal a draw wire. Yes the engine will go in before the guards etc but after the steering column.

Looking at the seatbelts, was intending to mount the reels on the rear wall adjacent the a pillar, with the other end fixed to the same bolt, however looking at the end fixing makes me think I will need to mount to the actual b pillar bottom. How did you go with this neil or rob, who mounted the reels on the back wall?

Mine are on back wall - was much easier to do and can add as much reinforcing as you like and be visible for inspection not that vic roads were remotely interested in mine Image

Mine are pretty much identical to Robs setup
I started with nothing and still have most of it left.

I did the same Rob
There is a right way and a wrong way and then there is my way which is usually the long way.
