https://www.vicroads.vic.gov.au/registr ... -off-types

Written-off vehicles are recorded on the Written-Off Vehicles Register (WOVR) to make sure they’re repaired well, and are safe enough to be on the road. The WOVR also helps confirm the identity of the damaged vehicle. The WOVR includes any light vehicles (up to and including 4.5 tonnes gross vehicle mass, or GVM) and motorcycles that are less than 15 years old, which have been assessed as a write-off. A vehicle is ‘written-off’ if the cost to repair it would probably be more than the value of the vehicle. A vehicle can also be written-off if it’s so badly damaged that it couldn’t be safe to drive.

Cheers,

Hi Harv

Glad to know Grace is safe!

As for the write off - never fear. Our old Holdens have stamped front clips which unbolt or can have some 'creative panel work' performed on the right inner wing :wink34:

Harv,

I just went down into Arachne's realm - my one remaining EK front indicator housing is a passenger's. Headlight surrounds, no problem. One EK grille, should you need it. But I was having myself on about the bonnet bar (my bad).

Harv I am sorry to read about this but thank goodness your daughter is safe.

The stainless repair guru may be this guy.

I have no knowledge first hand if his work. But what I have seen on Facebook is amazing. A true art.
