Haven’t heard of the paintable converter sealer. Sounds like you have it well and truly covered.

You are lucky your bus wasn't close by as I would had sneaked around with my angle grinder and relieved it of its dog legs

Tassie still has a moat around it thank god. Got a couple here need rebuilding

OMG I got off lightly LOL. All my seals are fine with the rust confined to the dog legs.

Unusual in my experience. Outer sills are practically a given on an original shell. I was lucky with my Ute. Fingers crossed. At least when you replace them you know they're good inside.
