Thanks Harv really appreciated and makes sense I just tried to register on Ozrodders and I can't get in; can you provide me with the guys details that is selling the setup you have or if I gave you my details could he contact me?
The person I got the engine from was running it in a VH commodore and said he never had a problem with brakes so maybe it is my booster.
I will get a vacuum guage and measure the vacuum first and take it from there.
Thanks for the replies.

Bugger - he has sold the brake setup. It was only advertised for 12 hours.
Details below:
I have a Summit electric vacuum brake system that I never used. It was for the Vicki, but it turned out my master cylinder was too big, which gave me a hard pedal. I recently removed the electric vacuum brake system from the boot and it now sits on my bar waiting for someone who wants it.
It's this one HERE, if you're interested, and it also comes with an aluminium vacuum tank, but one of the mounting bolts has sheared off. Easy TIG weld job.
Asking $180, includes free postage anywhere in Aus.

Hi Neil
I assume you have tested vacuum at the non return valve and the valve is free and working. Any difference to the brakes with the vacuum disconnected? You’ve probably tried all this.

The bit on the end of the vacuum line that plugs in to the booster. This stops the vacuum escaping when no manifold vacuum is being generated. You should be able to blow but not suck air through it.
If things are working and you pull out the line the brakes will instantly become noticeably harder. The revs should increase due to air being sucked in through the valve. Basic check to make sure the booster is actually getting vacuum.

Fitted the door cards yesterday couldn't help myself the colour was very hard to get an exact match so is the closest the trimmer could get big thanks to Drew "Northside Motor Trimmers" fitted the switches for the electric windows and just to complicate things further for myself I've fitted central locking

Borrowed Blacky's template for a parcel shelf and started making one that I had to slightly modify as I was going I'm going to use this to put the engine ECU on.

Fitted carpet to behind the seat just have to trim the edge below the rear screen a fraction overnear the drivers side and there are some loose threads to cut. Unfortunately the little bump in the middle top is where the join of the headlining is but I think I smoothed it out better than that after I took the photo
Next to do the 'B' pillar bottoms.
