Sent you a personal message Rob.

I saw that ad last night and contacted the guy already as I need them for my ute. Well one side at least. Sorry, I’ve cut your lunch.

Well what do you know. He just contacted me and doubled the asking price to $200 the pair so they are still available. WTF! I thought $50 each was fair. Never mind.

Might give Ray Taylor a call. If you’re in Adelaide we could share freight.

The fender corners are $47 at rares. They are probably an easier press but two pieces and spot welding so similar. I’d bet the peaks would be sameish. I was willing to pay $50 each plus postage and he reckons they are NOS. First dibs to Rob but if you’ve got more I’d take one or two.

Hi Rob;
Welcome to the forum, your ute looks like a great start for you, mine was way worse when I first got it and at least you have a front end and complete car by the looks I had just a bare shell.
Anyway good luck with it and make sure you post plenty of photos during your build.

Go the Utes :clap: :clap:

Must have missed photos. She looks pretty clean and solid. Bet there are a few surprises hidden away. Hopefully just a few rats nests. Looking forward to seeing more.
Cheers
Clay

. . . maybe you could try offering $5.50 for the headlight peak in chromate paint.
After all, that's the decimal equivalent of the marked price: L2/15/-

Thanks for the pics Rob,

Looks like you've got the good basis of a ute there. Look forward to seeing more pics as you get into it.

Stephen
