WA Personal Plates Rego Query

Hi All,

Just got a quick query, well two actually

Those WA personalised plates, the old blue ones with black writing.

Can you sell them seperate to the car?

How does that work, does the licencing centre hang on to them until they are sold and ready to go on a vehicle?

The plates are currently on a vehicle but I have another set of plates that are stored at the licencing centre that I want to put on instead.

Not sure if you can mate , the custom plates can be bought and sold but I don't know if the retro, personal etc ones can - I have heard of people putting them on and old bomb then selling the car to the new plate owner with the plates on them as a way around it ????? You should have no trouble swapping to the new set and putting the blue ones on hold though??
