Without wanting to state the obvious, all 3 are different.

EH wheel rims are dimensionally the same as FE, FC, FB, EK & EJ. These all interchange except FE & FC have the old style larger valve hole.

HD rims have a different offset & their centre is quite different in appearance, although they do have the advantage of clearing disc brake calipers.

HR (sedan & wagon) look the same as HD rims, but have a different offset yet again. HR rims can be identified by a small (2-3mm) hole in one of the ridges between the stud holes. HR ute & van got HD rims.

You can use any of these rims on earlier models, just make sure you fit them in matching sets, which is why I posted the info above.

Thanks for that info Dr Terry. I have a set of new EH brake drums which i want to use on my FB however i know I have to use the later wheels as well. Do you or anybody know what the offset differences is for the three types of wheel? Thanks, Fraze

Fraze,

EH wheels can be used with EH brakes. The later series of wheels are back-compatible, though.
