Hi Nath;
Haven't touch the ute since Sunday when I couldn't help putting on those bits, am going to sit down and put a plan together first thing is to wipe out all the body work dust out of the cabin and tray, the shite makes me itch :roll: :roll: :roll:

I went on to the MegaSquirt site (no it is not a Porn Site :lol: ) there is a distrubutor in NZ none listed in Aus, sent them an email and they come back and said they do not have a unit that plugs straight into the dunnydoor harness, I have found another couple of older Haltechs on Gumtree so will probably pick up one of them.

I appreciate you giving me the lead though.

definitely and good plan :thumbsup:

oh plug and play is a much better option in my opinion, like i said i know the MegaSquirts are a budget option but no idea how much effort you need to put into them... plus Haltech is nice and reliable.

Agree about the plug and play mate and in reality when you looked at price and the extra dramas to get the MegaSquirt in it probably works out about the same in the long run.

Like I sad it looks like I am able to get another old school Haltech and I will just need somebody that knows how to tune the old system.

I hope they Kryo Froze somebody I can break out :lol: :lol:

I'm just going to put this here... :ebiggrin: :ebiggrin: :ebiggrin: :ebiggrin: :ebiggrin: :ebiggrin:

13 long years... 150k's after one day, with plenty more to go, couple of small issues to sort but nothing to stop me.

Cheers
