Hi all,
I have the following on the ID tag:
Body: FB215-1160-S
Trim: 3-803A
Paint: 253-6314
Insert:
Top: S1-EDP-8790-PMG

I haven't had any luck identifying what these colours are, hoping someone can help.

Also just for the record, I have a chassis numbered: EK 45117 S

That's an interesting plate I will look into those numbers. Naturally you will have determined the car is some sort of PMG (post master general) fleet combo. What colour does the car appear to be originally?

I picked the car up from a mates property 12 years ago, it had been sitting under a gum tree for 17 years and apart from the rust and gum tree black, it was an aqua/green colour. The car has since been stripped and scrapped. Thanks for clarifying the PMG, can't figure out what the EDP acronym is though. Cheers

The tag reveals that your car is an EK Special Sedan, the 216th assembled in Melbourne (EK/225-216-M)
Body paint colour is Capricorn Coarl (Paint 585-4582)
Roof colour is Snowcrest White (Top 585-0246)
Someone can help me with the Trim # 712-965

You have unusal PMG Sedan which is Birch grey

S1 means it has extra options fitted like Oil Filter and maybe a coil in the fuel filler to stop people stealing the petrol.

The EDP-8790 is the GMH drawing number showing the production staff what has to be fitted to and/or modfiy the Sedan to meet the PMG requirements.

Someone had painted it a greeny blue, on closer inspection there is a hint of grey in places. There werent any extras on it when I bought it. I will have to follow it up with the fella I bought it from.
