November club runs

Post by Blacky »

Just sent an email out to members, heres the guts of it - if you are a member and arent getting these , please let me know.

We have a couple of big events coming up in the next few weeks, the first is the Vintage Car Boot sale on November 6. We need to be at Maida Vale oval before 9 AM for this one , so we will meet at McDonalds in Forrestfield at 8am , leaving by 8:30 so we can get in before the event starts at 9. Sounds like its going to be a pretty big event , there are 75+ traders plus a band, coffee and food vans, entertainment for the kids etc , a good family day by the sounds of it !

The GM owners day is the next one , its on November 20 in Bassendean , gates open at 9:30 for this one so I guess we need to be parked up by then. We will meet at the Muzz Buzz in Bayswater , corner of Guildford Rd and Slade St from 8:30 , leaving at 9AM to cruise down to Bassendean as a club. Entries need to be pre-paid for this event , I have attached an entry form that can be posted or emailed to the organisers, please put our club name on the form so they allocate us sufficient room to park together. The Club will provide a BBQ lunch and cool drinks for this event.

Look forward to seeing lots of you at these events ! Get them out of the shed , they love the exercise !!!

Cheers, Blacky.

All sorts of old crap for sale , one of the FC boys picked up a pretty cool book of transparencies that Holden dealers used to show a potential customer what their car would look like in whatever colour they picked , didn't get a pic of it but it was bloody cool , and a steal at $10 !!!
