My Chopped wagon
Re: My Chopped wagon
Where's the update photos mate ....

Don’t you find it Funny that after Monday(M) and Tuesday(T), the rest of the week says WTF?
Re: My Chopped wagon
Been doing small fiddle things like accelerator pedal and cable, gear linkage, fitting the front seat 3 times, driving to Albury for a side window, you know all those things.fingers wrote:Where's the update photos mate ....![]()

Getting close now - those "smoothie" spats look good

I started with nothing and still have most of it left.

Re: My Chopped wagon
I've just found this thread, Trev - where have I been?
Great work - can't wait to see it in the flesh... unique front bumper - sadly, many won't "see" it... always believed the FB grille to be prettier.. but preferred the EK blinker bar assembly.
Must have been a feat chopping down everything to fit... I'm guessing the seats sit pretty low on the floor..?
You'll be in the realms of a Mini Cooper down there - look out for matchboxes on the road!
Love the colour combo - just not quite up there with "black magic" though... (sic). Guess you couldn't find the right sized paint-brush?
frats,
Rosco

Thanks rosco, you can't always turn out classy vehicles like like my hand painted black Ek lol.rosco wrote:I've just found this thread, Trev - where have I been?

The seat is bolted directly to the floor with no runners so I can get my ugly head in.
I've had a mini before and I recon there is more leg room in those than these jalopies.

Re: My Chopped wagon
"Black Magic" was indeed a fait accompli, Trev..... not many know on just what a shoe-string allowance was left after committing almost the limit for your nats budget into the fine crafting of paint application to that magnificent beast.... nice to know the domes will live on in this wagon - some hand-me-down succession from the dear old horse....you can't always turn out classy vehicles like like my hand painted black Ek lol.
Yes, if you've had a mini - you'd full know what life on the road is like down there - of course, taking the wagon to new depths would have reduced leg travel distances ..... not only lower - but closer, by way of triangulation...
Now Trev, tell me... where did you hide the flux capacitor in this wonderful creation.. is it in the rear to balance the off-set weight of the rear positioned battery....?
Great work - none so keen to see it on the road as you, I expect...
frats,
Rosco
Re: My Chopped wagon
