Wooooohooooooo Stewart!!!
What can I say that hasn't already been said above... brought tears to my eyes.
It's definitely true that all that work really is worth it in the end!
Thanks for all your posts, help, advice and inspiration along the way, you definitely contributed to helping me finish mine.
Hope you are enjoying driving it as much as I am and don't worry about the hiccups in the beginning, I've had more than my fair share of them the last couple of weeks (but that's another story... i will get onto sharing one of these days!), the main thing is we have the plates!!
Congrats,
Manda.

Such an amazing story, from tracking down the car to the epic rebuild of a car most would have walked away from. Awesome.

Congratulations Stewart
Nothing beats that first test drive with the number plates on, you've probably got grin from ear to ear

Hopefully we'll see it at Coffee in the Hills sometime.

Hey Stuart.
I know I'm in the wrong place, but I tried to send a P.M. 3 times and I deleted my message 3 times. Fi's car is actually a sedan, but saying that, the front kick panels are the darker grey of the door trims and seats ( as opposed to the silver) and I'm sure the boards in the rear compartment are this grey as well. SunnyTim or RustyDungers will be able to varify this. I repeat that I can't wait to see "Old Timer" in the flesh, as well as "The Milkshake" and a few others that may be finished in time for Wangaratta.
