An old picture from a friend surfaced on Facebook today of my first FB I bought off my uncle back in the early 80's.
I eventually sold it to my brother who still hopefully has it, although it has been sitting rusting away in his garage as he cant be arsed doing anything with it. Hasn't even driven it in over 10 years. He wont sell it back to me either....well not for anything less than a small fortune.
I would love to have it back as I know its history is very well documented and it's family history too. One day I hope.

She's Castile Green/Dartford Grey Tim. I haven't been up that way since then, about 83 I think.

Bloody family! Just take it off him saying you'll pay later, when he gives you a reasonable price!
That signs looks like the one on the road out to Newstead from memory.
Nice looking FB.

It shits me Brett but there's nothing I can do about it.
Yeh could be that road. I have no clue anymore as it was so long ago. These days I've forgotten more than I know!
Now what was I doing?

That Castille Green with grey on the side would have been Striking. I cant recall ever seeing one in the flesh (I may have) but it looks good on the Trax Model. It would be good to get back that old friend as it would get done up properly. Things might change. I once sat in a Tank Fairlane that I owned 20 years before. It was sitting in a paddock with another unknown Fairlane and they were offered together as a package. They had both become quite rusty and the price was Sky High. When I sat in my old car it didnt feel familiar at all which was wierd considering the fun I'd had with it in the past.
