What's the go with hood ornaments on utes? We bought our EK new and it didn't have a hood ornament, but I see some utes do. Were they added later or did some dealers add them before delivery?
I don't want one, as I like the clean lines of my EK, but I just wondered why some have them and some don't.

The one on my ute was fitted after it was sold , it was bought by the original owners daughter for him as a Christmas present the first year he owned it ,he also added the wydascope mirror so all the bits on my ute were fitted in the first year of it's life.
I started with nothing and still have most of it left.

They were a Nasco option for all FB & EK. Opt for it from new or not I guess...........if you've got the bucks.

It's quite funny how they chose the bits and bobs - mine came with the hood ornament but no roof mount rear view mirror - only an external mirror on drivers side - I guess he only wanted to go fast and wasn't worried about what was coming behind him
