Cheers guys.
I got a bead roller off ebay because I'm planning on having a go at hand making the stainless steel trim  if anyone has used one you probably know what a pain in the backside it is trying to wind the handle while feeding the sheet metal in..... bloody exercise in frustration!!

Image

So I searched ebay for a secondhand reduction drive and found this three phase one thats 630:1 reduction for $100! happy days, but it is three phase and I only have single phase..... so I did some research and found a you tube clip a pommie did about running 3 phase motors on single phase...... I had nothing to lose so I gave it a go, rewired it in DELTA, added a 25uf Capacitor and bingo! she runs bewdiful!

So then made a stand and beefed up the back of the rollers, added an adjustable stop, die racks and some wheels.

My first attempt at a proper bead rolling job was the end plate for the chain gaurd..... :D :D :D

What are you thinking for a front end Gaz ? I am playing around with a Mitsubishi L300 front end at the moment - was going to order a SCW front end but my Scottish heritage wouldn't let me spend the $5000

Was also thinking about narrowing an LH front end if the Mitsi doesn't work ???
