Re: NZ EK resto - Starting at the bottom
The engine builder has sent me some photos of how the 138 is progressing....
The crank was ground, block decked and bored, new everything, cam was ground to allow for the twin carb set up....Head was given a birthday as well, new springs, valves, ported and polished, stainless valve seats to run unleaded fuel(at $2.00 per litre)
Block is gloss black all bolt ons will be grey... twin Bovx carbs with a "monaro motors" manifold..

Re: NZ EK resto - Starting at the bottom
Looking for a rebuid kit for the gearbox..... i have 4 of them so would like to rebuild one so its all new.....
love the fact that smaller things are coming together...Hate the fact that its costing me an arm and leg...
Bought my last thinks back from oz last week....in total 4 rust free doors, 1 boot rust free, 2 front guards (better than orig), a complete rear cut for the lower boot panel and the beaver panel...
You should see the look at the Air NZ staff when i put these on the plane all bubblewrapped and fragile taped......
